Design Edit

The Design Edit is a broader engagement than the Room Edit, addressing multiple spaces as a connected whole. Emily Webster visits the home and walks through it with a dual purpose: understanding each space individually, and understanding how they relate to each other. The palette, the material language, the furniture scale and the styling approach are considered across the home, not room by room in isolation.

The deliverables reflect this broader scope: a whole-home design direction document, room-by-room recommendations, a consolidated palette and materials reference, and a priority order for implementation. This gives clients a clear roadmap — what to address first, what can follow, and how to ensure the decisions made in one room support rather than undermine the next.

The Design Edit does not include procurement or project management. It is a design direction, clearly communicated and ready to act on. For clients who want TSW to manage the implementation through to delivery, the Signature Styling Experience is the appropriate package.

The right scope for most homes

The Design Edit is the most commonly chosen package at The Style Workshop because it reflects the reality of how most homes present: the problem is rarely one room in isolation, and the solution is rarely a comprehensive project either. A clear design direction for the whole home, delivered efficiently, is often exactly what is needed.

It suits clients who are comfortable making purchases and coordinating trades themselves once they have a direction, and who want that direction to be considered, specific, and genuinely useful.
